Seasonal: VIP Venue Liaison

OBJECTIVE

To service VIP Pass holders at the Tribeca Film Festival with optimum care to ensure exclusive, enjoyable, organized, hassle-free and personalized experiences at the theater venues.

DESCRIPTION

A Venue Liaison is a concierge representative assigned to one of the main Festival theaters/locations to work with on-site venue teams and provide VIP Pass holders with a seamless and exclusive experience at the Festival.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Be stationed at his/her assigned venue for the duration of public and/or premiere screenings scheduled for the respective venue
  • Work with the venue managers to maintain a block of reserved seats at each screening
  • Facilitate highest level of customer service by greeting and stewarding VIP Pass holders upon arrival, enabling them to bypass all lines (venue entry line and theater entry line)
  • Be in communication with VIP office at all times via email (ex., VIP office will email you if a guest is running late and you need to continue holding their seat)
  • Manage a team of crew members who will work shifts on a rotating basis throughout the Festival
  • Report issues/unsatisfied customers to VIP office

Other responsibilities/expectations include:

  • Venue Liaisons and crew will be expected to wear a custom orange baseball hat (provided by Tribeca Film Festival) in order to be easily identified by VIP Pass holders.
  • Venue Liaisons are expected to be in business casual attire
  • Venue Liaisons will need to access emails/texts sent from the VIP office during working hours as well as an app while on site at the theaters.
  • Venue Liaisons may be on their feet for long periods of time and may be required to work outside.

  • Customer service experience and excellent communication skills
  • Proactive and a proven problem solver
  • Hard-working team player with a positive attitude
  • Punctuality, attention to detail, and organization skills are a must

SCHEDULE

  • Every day during the Festival (April 18th – 29th)
  • Exact hours TBD based on Festival Calendar; likely 11 am – 11 pm daily
  • Includes two 4-hour training sessions to be held in a week or two prior to April 18th (exact dates TBD)
