The TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL PROGRAMMING DEPARTMENT is looking for creative, hardworking and responsible college students and recent grads (‘16, ‘17) that have a strong interest in film, film festivals, film related production, and event planning for the 2018 TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL.
The Tribeca Film Festival was launched to celebrate New York City as a major filmmaking center and to contribute to the long-term recovery of lower Manhattan. The Festival brings together visionaries across industries and diverse audiences to celebrate the power of storytelling. A platform for independent filmmaking, creative expression and immersive entertainment, Tribeca supports emerging and established voices, discovers award-winning filmmakers, curates innovative and interactive experiences, and introduces new technology and ideas through panels, premiers, exhibitions and live performance.

The Tribeca Film Festival has screened more than 1,600 films from more than 80 countries since its first edition in 2002. Since inception, it has attracted an international audience of more than 4.9 million attendees and has generated an estimated $900 million in economic activity for New York City.
Interns will initially start by assisting the Programming Department (along with other Festival staff members) with various administrative duties and miscellaneous projects. Such duties will include database entry, film and film industry research, in addition to any other office tasks as needed. Duties and responsibilities will increase as the 2018 Festival approaches. This internship is an incredible opportunity to be immersed in and gain knowledge of the world of independent film and the independent film industry. Interns MUST BE AVAILABLE to participate during the Tribeca Film Festival to be held from April 18th to April 29th 2018.
This internship is slated to begin on September 25th and last until May 4th, 2018.
